  • Good enough for occasional home garage use
Color: 1/4" Driver
I bought this so that I could remove the flat head screw that holds the brake rotor in place on my Honda. It works well enough to do that and it isn't very expensive. It seemed to be better made than some of the cheaper ones available on Amazon. It's sturdy enough to last a lifetime of home garage use. It helps to lubricate the cam slide that rotates the head. Also, there is a chance that the direction of rotation will change after an impact, so check it before each strike. I only takes a single strike to loosen the screw, or maybe a 2 or 3 if it's really stuck or you're still finding out how hard you have to hit it. I would up using a 2 lb drilling hammer and a moderate swing to get good results. ... show more

  • Looks like it will do the job
Color: 1/2" Driver
I'm still waiting to test out, but I have messed with it and seems like it'll work. Used to use them a lot at a previous job, which is why I went ahead and finally bought one. I have yet to see these not to free stuck bolts. As long as bolts are grade A, they shouldn't snap easily.

  • On the heavier duty side of things...
It's really good value, but really a very large example of what can be purchased. The bits it comes with are for instance far too wide to use to unstick frozen carb jets, but you can also use your own bits. Very heavy duty. Nice box. Unknown quality of bits. No instructions. If wondering how to change direction, push down on the end and turn in the direction of travel. It dill dip down, and cross over to the other side of the mechanism. The reverse puts it in that direction. Testing the direction of travel can be done by again, pushing down on the end and seeing which way it rotates. ... show more

  • Saved the day.....
Color: 1/4" Driver
I had some TORQ head screws that were seized up on an outboard motor. The impact driver worked perfectly in their removal. ALWAYS use anti-seize compound (buy on AMAZON) on the screw threads when replacing them. This driver set is good quality at a fair price. With Amazon Prime, I had it in less than 24 hours after placing the order. ... show more

  • A lot easier to get rotors out with rusted screws
Color: 1/2" Driver
It was impossible for me to get the old rotors out without this. I tried to do it with screw driver wrench but end up stripping the screw. I had to use a dremel on the strip screws to get them out. With this impact driver, I was able to loosen and get the rusted screws out in seconds. Just make sure to use a metal hammer and not a rubber mallet. ... show more
