  • I really dig this super functional bag..
I am not going to go into how much I love this speaker because everyone has their take on it but as an audiophile I am very impressed at the sound you get for the price. Actually I am shocked. Beyond that I’m reviewing the bag. The bag has a small bit of padding and I think the reason it’s not padded more is because the speaker itself is pretty heavy and any more padding on this bag would add to the heaviness of the unit. When you carry it with the handle behind the unit it’s not as heavy but carrying it straight up it’s a bit on the heavy side The bag is padded enough for you to safely take it where you need to go. You still need to be careful and not throw it around but you don’t have to be as gentle or really worry too much. The coolest thing about the bag is not having to take the speaker out of the bag to use it. It has two very large side pockets where you can fit a lot of cables, an extra battery, cell phone, or whatever else you might need to throw in there. there is a small pocket on the front if you need to put your keys in there or anything else. The front unzips and you can roll it up and Velcro it behind the speaker so the speaker can be used while being protected by the bag (there is mesh in between the front zip up cover and the speaker so when the front cover is unzipped the speaker is still protected). You might be wondering about the air hole in the back of the unit being covered while in a bag but AIWA has thought about that too as the bag has a little zip out hole so you can listen to it while it’s in the bag. Also there are access zippers for the plugs and power button. It also comes with an optional longer handle that you can clip on as well as the two shorter handles. The only negative about the two shorter handles is that there is no Velcro to put them together which is very common on bags of this size but it’s not a dealbreaker. Actually, I am very shocked that they didn’t pay attention to that considering the amount of detail that has been put into this bag. Other than that the bag looks nice with the black and red stitching, it is sturdy, it’s very functional, the attention to detail is great, and the ability to play the speaker while it’s in the bag is a great thing. If you want to take your speaker out of your house to a party or anywhere I would recommend getting this. ... show more

  • Great bag, room for improvements
I love my Aiwa speaker and wanted something that makes it a bit easier to move around as well as protect it when I'm using it outside. Step in the carrying case/travel bag. As other commenters have said, it's perfectly designed around the Aiwa. It has some pockets on each side where I can put the remote and power cable or other goodies. There is a zipper hole for the rear of the speaker where the air comes out as well as over the power button. On my bag the hole for the cables is slightly offset, making it not quite line up with the ports but it doesn't really pose any usage issues. My biggest complaint though, and I really believe it should be fixed on the next version of the bag, is the quality of the zipper. It seems a bit flimsy and is hard to zip up at times, catching on the bag. I doubt its durability and would really appreciate a more heavy duty zipper. If you have an Aiwa Exos-9 it's a no-brainer to get this bag. ... show more

  • Good quality, price, and functionality.
I like the color scheme of this carrying case, and the pocket placement is really nice for things like MP3 players, an extra battery, or any other small things you'd like to carry along. The build quality is very good for the price, but it isn't what I'd call military grade. Either way, it's still good. Prepare yourself for zipper rattle if you like to pump it up to high volume. The case is 5 stars for the price, but if I had to rate it based solely on features and quality, I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10. The top cover rolls up into a scroll and two interior Velcro straps hold it down to the back of the case. In practice, this is nice, but if you have anything rigid in the front pocket you'll have to remove it before rolling up the top cover. This also means that you have two straps inside the case just sitting there with the speaker propped right up against them when it's stowed and the case is all zipped up. I don't know if this will introduce wear or if it's no big deal, but I guess time will tell. The only other thing I could see making this case perfect would be rubberizing the zippers to negate any metallic rattling they produce when the speaker is at high volume. If Amazon allowed a hlaf star rating, I'd give it 4.5 stars, but all in all, this case really makes a good pairing for a little added security and functionality with the speaker. ... show more

  • Aiwa did it again, excellent case and works perfect and at only $26.99 well worth ecery penny.
As always, Aiwa™ out did themselves, again!!! Very nice case, but honestly the best way to protect the Aiwa™ Exos-9, is with the Tutto Large 22" Stroller, this item is the Best and safest way to transport the Exos-9, plus it can he pulled and it even has a handle to carry the Aiwa™ Exos-9. You can roll up the front cover and it has netting you can listen to the Exos-9 on the go. The only modification this Tutti™ large stroller needs, is a small slit Inside the back cover to access the plug, USB, Aux inputs, about a three inch slit. The Tutto™ large 22" stroller is the "best" for listening and transporting. It took me almost three months and at least fifteen different types of cases to find this treasure. It is a little pricy, at $137.95 but well worth every penny and a breeze to transport the Exos-9 and fantastic protection, against water, scratches and or dings and it can be pulled with your little finger. As soon as I can figure out a way to post pictures, I'll post them. ... show more

  • Very functional case for the EXOS-9
I love the aiwa EXOS-9 as a powerful portable speaker system so a carrying case is needed as it is big at around 13 lbs. This case is sturdy and it all fits well as specifically designed for the EXOS-9. No need to take out the speaker - just open the front flap and roll it up and secure it with the Velcro straps. There is a round flap to open in the back for the sub-woofer and a small opening for the power cord if needed. There are two side pockets for an extra battery and the cords. A front pocket can hold a phone or iPod. It has handles or can use the shoulder strap. I think it is a well thought out functional case. ... show more
