The media could not be loaded. My wife and I are coffee lovers. We own a manual French brew machine in our home. Wanted to try a K-cup coffee maker for easiness and hence decided to try this for the budget reason. Overall very satisfied with the machine and can say it delivers for the price. I would recommend it to anyone. Here are my thoughts after trying it for a week: Pros: - Coffee quality is really good & tastes good - Machine heats up pretty fast - It can make via K-cups or reusable cups (included in the bundle) with ground coffee - It is not at all bulky and lightweight too making it a great option to carry around while traveling - They do bundle a travel cup in the package - Build quality is not premium looking but it is nice and feels durable - Reasonable price in the competition Cons: - Machine drips a bit after each use. It definitely needs frequent drip tray cleaning in this machine - The machine does not descale or clean automatically, so detailed cleaning is needed for the internal parts over the period of time ... show more

First off, I am happy with the product. However 3 out of the first 5 brews, we found that the bottom (K-Cup holder) needle didn't puncture K-Cup, or punctured it on it's side. Which, FYI, leads to a scalding hot coffee-groundy steamy MESS inside the machine and in a 3-foot radius around it. Seems the "needle" inside the plastic pod holder has its taper turned outward, so you have to push the K-cup towards that side to avoid the mess I managed to repeat 3 times... I also find pouring the water tricky; if I pour it 3-4 millimeters too far forward, it spills everywhere and into the cup holder/into your mug... But that could just be user error (instant coffee making is perhaps too complex for me) or maybe I should check the lean of my countertops/kitchen floor... BUUUUT, overall, I like it! For the price, it provides HOT coffee quickly and (somewhat) easily. You can't do much better with a tumbler included, and it's tall enough for said tumbler. That was my biggest selling point and I'm happy with my choice. Now all we need is more color variety (please??) :) ... show more

Terrible. Literally made three cups of coffee, which were very slow and lukewarm rather than hot, but fine. The fourth cup it did not drip more than a teaspoon. Opened it up to discover it had spewed the coffee grounds all over inside, including into the water reservoir where I cannot get then out. Don't buy this. A better alternative would be to have just set my money on fire. Less stress, less mess. ... show more

I bought this for my neighbor teacher. When it works it is fantastic! Then, sometimes - it doesn't and it is at least entertaining waiting to see what will happen. Sometimes you pore the water in and it immediately drips out. Sometimes, it cycles all the way through and you're left with a cup of cold water. Sometimes, it pretends to make coffee- does all of the noises, finishes, and your cup is empty. Then, you naturally try to dump the water from the coffee maker into the sink - but it's gone! The next morning you come in, don't touch it, and now hot water is coming out of it - that water that disappeared. ... show more
