I never leave bad reviews but this one deserves it. First of all, the wig horrible. The quality of the hair is so poor. The curl pattern is nothing close to what is being advertised. The hair I received doesn’t even look like the ones reviewed so I’m curious where this wig came from?! No matter how I tried to style it, it just looked like a big mop on top of my head. It looks like a joke, or something you’d wear as part of a Halloween costume. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would! I’m so disappointed because I’ve never purchased hair from Amazon that I didn’t love. I did see a few bad reviews initially, but I decided to not take it too seriously because there was plenty of good ones. Love, love, love this wig. Like everyone else I was skeptical at first. The wig has a strong smell at first. I washed with Dr. bronners peppermint soap, including the cap , and that helped. I used leave in conditioner and let it set overnight. Next day I clipped it to frame my face and used a pic for additional volume. The curls are soft and bouncy. Just a good buy overall. I watched so many reviews on different wigs before finally deciding to pull the plug on this one. I love the wig bag that comes with the wig. Initially the wig may not appear to be the length purchased, however if you have kinky curly hair that shrinks or familiar with such you would know ... yea it's just shrinkage! wigs have a smell but is removed once washed. ---The volume is as advertised, the feel is soft, and the wig is lightweight. --- My question is... is this a full wig? or is my head too big? lol --- There isn't a comb to the front of the wig... I'm trying to figure out how to make this wig feel secure... I have been looking at all the bloggers on YouTube who purchased this wig. I ordered a wig grip, so I am hoping this helps. The media could not be loaded. This wig is like actual black thick curly hair. It’s soft it’s full no lace, which is a plus if you’re trying to save those edges small head friendly I’m not sure about larger heads so you might have to test yourself. My only issue is the length is so hard for me to tell with curly hair what length to buy to achieve the look I want in this case I bought 18 but I probably would’ve been better off with 20 or 22. I just passed shoulders. I think this one to do for like a shorter like a tighter look but I still would like to have the 20 or 22 inch wig , I’m undecided if I’m gonna send it back or not not but I would definitely buy a longer length in addition to if I choose to keep it I’ve bought a lot of kinky curly hair and this has been one of the best by far. This curl pattern is truly a nice Afro kinky tight coil pattern. Please make in a 1/2 wig style, v-part and bundles! I cut a v-split into the bangs and made as a vpart (although you don’t have too). Typically wore in 1/2 up down as shown and it easily blended with leave out (or not). I did try to do some sandy brown highlights it did not come out as intended but actually ended up a perfect brown that matched my hair. I’m not much of a hair styler and preferred the semi messy “wash and go”. You can see the difference with light styling gel or mouse vs heavy application for more defined look.
