This seems rock solid under my adjustable dumbbell set. As someone else mentioned, the wrench included is too small for the nuts provided. On mine, the logo spray painted on one leg looked like the stencil wasn't all the way down as there's a white haze box around the area. One of the strap loops was bent inward upon unpacking. Minor items, but pulling a star for the combo of all three. All in all, it does what it says for a good price. It is about a 1/4 inch too short to allow Norditrack selectable dumbbells to sit on the platform in their tray. It's wide enough so i may just bend the top lip down to let it them sit flat. And as others have mentioned, the strap is a good idea, but gets in the way in practice. This would of course vary depending on your particular set, but it does impede on the Norditrack. Other than that, my only wish would be for it to sit a little taller. If you're 6' and over, expect to hunch over a bit to pull the weights. ... show more

    • It's not compatible with every adjustable dumbbell
I have the Snode AD80 adjustable dumbbell, and these don't fit on the rack, plain and simple. This is fine, but the description of this product says "Compatible with all kinds of adustable dumbbells on the market. Don't be afraid of any incompatible". So clearly, they're wrong.

I wasn't sure if I wanted one of these taking up space or not but I actually love having it. My adjustable weights (55 lb) fit perfectly on here, almost like they were made for it. One leg fits into the stand to grab the weight and I can easily grab them from a much more comfortable height than the floor. The stand itself is well built, super solid (have to imagine it could support the biggest adjustable on the market) and sturdy. My only complaint is that for my adjustable weights no one designed the base to be snugged down to a stand; so the strap comes across the base right where your hand needs to be positioned to grab the weights. It's a bit annoying... I may wind up just removing the straps all together; the only setting this would be an issue for is the max setting as leaving any amount of weight behind will keep the base in place and secured to the stand. I'm super pleased with the stand. Of other note: the manufacturer did short me one washer (I got 17 instead of 18) and the wrench they included in the kit did not fit the nuts they sent. It's like they just randomly grabbed a wrench and tossed it in. Not that big of deal, I have tools; if I didn't I would not have been able to get this put together though. I used channel locks that I had lying around; a crescent wrench or open-end wrench would have worked equally well. Maybe a smaller socket set as well, I'm not sure if that would have fit everywhere or not though. ... show more

Sturdy. Easy assembly. A little on the narrow side, can’t stand between to pick up dumbbells at your sides. But not too big a deal, put one leg forward between the cradles and take off. The media could not be loaded. Not compatible with all adjustable dumbells as advertised. Our bowflex 5-60 pound adjustables are about half an inch too big for this platform. The wrench they give is too small to put this together so have your own tools ready. It was easy to put together (with my tools) although the instructions were just an exploded diagram. It was easy to follow. Overall I was excited for this to arrive and disappointed on the false advertisement that it fit all adjustable dumbells. The actual weights will fit this platform but the base will not, the base is needed to adjust Bowflex Dumbells, so I stand by my review that Bowflex Dumbells do not fit this platform. ... show more

I own Core Home Fitness adjustable dumbbells and they are too large for the platforms of this product. However, they are only slightly too large, so with the strap holding the base down, it is still usable which is why I am giving it a 3/5 stars. I would not claim that this fits all adjustable dumbbells without doing proper research to verify this fact. ... show more
