DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!! That’s what I get for buying a newer product that had no reviews at the time. There is nothing sturdy or strong about these poles. Tried to hang bistro lights from them and the poles bent toward the ground. They even wobble when staked in the ground with nothing attached to them. You MIGHT be able to hang mini Christmas lights from them but those may even be too heavy for these useless poles. Absolute garbage product. ... show more

These light poles are not strong enough to support cafe string lights. Within hours after installation, all 4 poles were leaning from the weight of the lights. I tried to move them and bury the stake deeper; however, that didn't last long either before they started leaning. Very disappointed because they look great and were pricey but they are not functional for the use they are made for. ... show more

    • Spikes too short to support the poles

The ground spikes are very short and barely support the poles. These will work if you're hanging lights in a straight line. If they're at any angle the poles will lean significantly. I was able to tie a support to a tree bit be aware how you're planning to run your lights

Very cheaply made. Pieces were bent, wouldn't go together straight. Had to use a hammer, and its still crooked. Bottom comes unscrewed easily.

    • Base prongs are too fragile

The poles are fine but the base isn’t sturdy enough. I bought four of these and three of them are essentially useless and can’t stand straight because the base prongs got so bent when I pushed these into the dirt in my yard.

    • Exactly what I wanted

I needed two poles to support my string of yard lights over my gate. I needed them to be tall enough so that anyone can pass underneath without a problem. I also needed them to be very sturdy, since we occasionally get very gusty winds. These fit the bill perfectly! The long four prongs at the end of each pole dig deep into the ground, and have proven more than a match for our winds. Each pole comes in two pieces and they screw together. I thought the attachment site was a little wobbly, but I have had no issues. The hooks at the top are very secure, and I have had no issues with the wind blowing my lights off the poles.
