Description

Weighing just 3.7 oz (105 g), ADC's all-new Adscope-Lite 619 is a durable yet lightweight stethoscope with the acoustic performance you'd expect from an instrument costing two to three times more. The combination chestpiece offers an ultra-sensitive diaphragm for greater amplification and crisper high-frequency transmission as well as an extra- large bell for unsurpassed low-frequency response. The 619 also features Adjustable Frequency Design (AFD) technology to further enhance the acoustic response. The clinician headset, designed to withstand thousands of cycles, features a double-leaf tensioning spring and a reinforcing yoke molded into flexible PVC tubing. Comes with a free scope ID tag and two pairs of Adsoft Plus Snap-on silicone eartips (one large, one small). Individually acoustic tested. Lifetime warranty and free parts forever. My wife is an RN and needed a new stethoscope. We bought a few different models of the adscope (603; 608; 619) as welll littman classic 3. We tested them by listening heart and lung sounds. Heart sound all of them performed well. But for lung sounds, this model 619 performed the least among all of them, but it is also the lightest. The 603 and classic 3 were on par with each other, and were the best. Are there differences? Yes. Is that big enough to make a difference in your needs? You will need to decide yourself. I love this ADC stethoscope! My previous ADC stethoscope I had for 18 years, and I decided to finally retire it and get a newer one for work. I especially like how long the tubing is. I can hear very clearly while doing my assessments and vitals. It is not too heavy to wear around my neck all day. I chose the aqua color this time and it is such a stunning color. I am a home health nurse and usually patients have alot going on in their home and it makes it hard to auscultate anything. But this stethoscope does the job. I heard lung sounds and heartbeats without difficulty! Definitely will be buying another one 😊😊

Full disclosure I've never owned a Littmann so couldn't compare to them but it's a big improvement over my last stethoscope. I didn't want to spend a lot on something that may be lost but still wanted something with good sound quality that was lightweight. This fit the bill and I think the acoustics are great. Currently in EMT training. Patient Assessments and BPs all day long. I got an MDF and was having trouble auscultating despite having done it plenty before. I tried on one of the stethoscopes available at the EMT barn we were training in, it was an ADC 641 from the Pro's Combo II. That was absurdly better than the $50 MDF MD One that I had, and a quarter the price, so I bought a set off of the EMT barn. I wanted something more lightweight and found these. Better sound quality than the 641 and half the weight. A bit shorter length but it is worth it. And still MUCH cheaper than the $50 MDF MD One. ... show more
