This was the second screen protector that I tried for my Samsung S22 Ultra. I could not get the fingerprint reader to work with the first so after 3 days trying, I returned it and purchased this one, primarily based on 55% 5 star ratings vs. 18% 1 star ratings. I was able to get the fingerprint reader to function at a highly satisfactory level. However, it would not work immediately after installing the screen protector. Following the install, there were no bubbles in the fingerprint area but it did have some small areas that had a grayish haze. The next day the haze was gone and the fingerprint area was uniformly black. At that point I was able to register fingerprints with no difficulty. So far I have not had any problems using the fingerprint reader for access. The ONLY reason I knocked off one star on the fingerprint reader is because the reader is SLIGHTLY less sensitive than the original screen, requiring slightly greater pressure to activate. The alignment tray greatly helps with the installation. It accurately fits the phone snapping into place. The only minor issue is the tray design is a little tight at the top of the phone when you start to install the screen protector. It is necessary to push the top of the screen protector under the top of the tray to get the proper vertical alignment. This takes more force than necessary and runs the risk of getting fingerprints or dirt on the backside of the protector. Push firmly from the bottom end. Once the protector is pushed into the top of the tray, it drops easily and accurately into place. If the protector is not firmly pushed into the top of the tray it catches on the bottom of the tray and does not adhere to the phone so it is easy to lift, push and drop into place. Minus one installation star for having to push the protector into the alignment tray. The screen protector seems slightly more reflective and shows more smudges than the original screen but this protector functions exceptionally well on the Samsung S22 Ultra. ... show more

These go on really easily and stay on really well. The only downside is the fingerprint scanner. You will have to re-register your prints, and even then reading your prints can be a bit tricky at times. You do get a feel for it eventually, so it's not too bad. It does also add a bit of glare in the sunlight which I found annoying. Other than that, they're very protective. My fiance drops her phone all the time and these have saved us countless dollars in phone repairs. Very much worth it. ... show more

    • Is this the right screen protector? Simple answer... no.

I've tried multiple screen protectors for my Galaxy S22 Ultra and it is hard to fine the perfect balance. This screen protector, is not even close. It has too many negatives and not many positives. I will start with the positives first. Pros: -I like that it's a hard shell screen protector and I don't have to apply liquid adhesive like some of the other brands. -Easy to apply. That's about it for the positives. Now the negatives. Cons: -The finger scan simple doesn't work as promised. I can get is to register my finger about 5% of the time. I've followed instructions and have rescaned my finger prints multiple times. I have turned on the touch sensitive feature and still have these issues. I also wipe down my screen and it still doesn't register. It is too much of a pain in the ass to deal with and this experience alone makes this product worthless. I should also mention, I haven't ever had issues like this with any other screen protector yet. -I've used the product about a few days before I started noticing a rainbow effect in the middle of the screen. It's not largely noticeable, however, it's there. I'm guessing it's not completely sitting flush on the screen despite being very careful when applying. -About a week in I am now noticing dust is getting under the screen near the camera some how. The screen protector seems to appear perfectly flush, yet dust is stiff getting in. -The hole for the finger scan is hidious. What's the point of it if it doesn't even work? -The screen glare/fog is also hideous. Surpringly it would actually look much better if it matched the finger scan across the whole screen. Honestly there's more minor negatives I could talk about, but I feel like the ones I listed alone justify a 1 (or even zero) star review. ... show more

    • Hoping for bothering best...? First one cracked quick.

Easy to install but the little frame thing didnt help me.. i just put it on and was able to slide it where it needed to go. No bubbles no dirt no smudges underneath. The first screen protector cracked on the first little drop. Slid of my lap and the corner hit. I have a youmaker case with raised bezel around the screen. The screen protector cracked in the corner and spread very quickly. It came of easy and clean in one piece. The second one went on just as easy as the first and has been good so far. My screen is still safe and I still have one more. So maybe the first one was a fluke. I like it so far and the finger print works but not perfect. So I won't complain to hard. It feels really good and works with out any glitches. Cleans off very easy and doesn't hold smudges like plastic ones do. ... show more

These screen protectors would be a great value regardless of price. They fit the Samsung S22 Ultra perfectly, 'are case friendly, and effortless to install thanks to the guide frame provided (and no bubbles). I dropped my phone today on a marble step, and it then bounced onto a concrete floor. The protector cracked, and there was a chip in one corner. When I removed the damaged screen protector, I feared for the worst. To my astonishment, the phone glass was pristine - 'looked like it just came out of the box when new!!! I'd give this product 12 stars if they were available (the fingerprint reader has never worked right - but I think that issue is poor design by Samsung, rather than a problem with this glass screen protector). ... show more

Although the item is priced right , it's also misleading, the finger print compatibility is not correct for a 22 ultra it won't read enough to work. For 9H this must be on the bottom of the scale for fragility ( it cracks real easy) compared to others.
