Love it and recommend it to beginning Violin students of all ages, and to teachers for use with their students. :) Exercises are very simple, and students start learning double stops early in their studies, which is a plus, in my opinion.

Came with a hole in the cover, all marked up, with some other kids name inside it. That aside it's a great scale book, and quality intonation, and becoming familiar with fingering across key signatures in 1st position is something that I think any new violinist should get their head around

My grandson is learning the violin and this book is the easiest to teach from and to learn from. He thinks he is going to be a famous violinist...well didn't we all?
