  • Give Your Seedlings Max Coverage With a Mylar interior
Size: 24"x24"x36"
Product arrived on time as agreed. Assembly is a cinch due to the small size. Assemble the frame, overlap the canvas, and tuck in the base tray. I have found when cleaning, the base tray should be inside the frame, as opposed to the frame being inside the base tray. See photo. Otherwise, no tearing yet. There is a slight crimple when affixing the zipper-front-door to the velcro when opened. So, watch that area of stress. Otherwise, sure a few strands of light do escape along the base through the fabric when stretched in the dark, but you could probably count the number of photons escaping on your two hands. Not a lot. You'll need to minimally run a tube insert along with an embedded fan between the two bottom Eight (8) inch diameter vents, one on the front of the left panel at the bottom of the left panel close to the door, and one on the front of the right-panel at the bottom of the right panel close to the door in the same parallel position as shown in the photo to bring in cooler outside air. Optionally, the tent is equiped w Three (3) passive screened vents, as well. One on either of the two lower-back sides of the left and right panels, and another on the lower rear of the back panel. The velcro borders of the passive vent panels are similar to the velcro borders of front view window ... Just roll 'em up a bit. This little Forty-eight (48) square inch base coupled with a height of only Thirty-six (36) inches can still hit the 90's deg F. (32 deg. Celsius) on a thermo stick placed down at thr bases of the plants. At a height of about Five (5) inches above the floor, the internal temp of the tent can pretty quickly fill up when a Ten (10) by Ten (10) watt array of LEDs is switched on above your plants at a distance of Ten (10) inches from the tops of your seedlings. Granting all Five (5) stars for this tiny seedling tent pending any horrific tears in the fabric of which I see none at this time post-delivery. The interior mylar skin is super bright and reflective and intensely reflects the light around the plants and interior tent for maximum coverage. Good bang for the buck! But, wear your sunglasses as you unzip and roll up the front velcro observation panel. The large "chimney" opening at the top of the tent is designed to wrap a charcoal filter, but will also act as a vent when fully lit by your chosen LED panel. ... show more

  • Works great and was simple to construct
Size: 96"x48"x80"
I know some people complained that it was difficult for one person to assemble but it is very easy for two people to construct. After my outdoor greenhouse tent collapsed under the weight of a foot of snow and the issues I have had with wind, rain, fungus, and bugs, I decided I will do most of my gardening indoors. So I cleared out a spare bedroom and I put in this 4X8 tent. The material is better than expected. It is sturdy with lots of spots for vents and very nice view windows. I am able to set up my grow light timers for off-peak electricity usage and I don’t have to worry about pests or going out in bad weather. The cross bars on top are strong enough to take lights and a water drip system (to be installed). I am so thrilled that I ordered a second smaller tent as a companion to expand my gardening plans. If things go well, I can possibly see even a third tent. ... show more

  • Worth it
Size: 96"x48"x80"
Surprisingly nice tent for the price. The poles are metal which is a huge plus. One of our corner pieces did break though, if anyone knows where to get a replacement that would be great. You can easily fit 3 full size regular plants in this tent, but its a bit crowded if they are very big. Impressed with all of the ports and the overall quality, but assembly is a bit of work. ... show more

  • Good budget tent.

  • quality buy. Heavy duty canvas. Would definitely buy again!
Size: 96"x48"x80"
The media could not be loaded. fairly easy to assemble. Took us about 90 minutes. Took Three of us. The frame was simple. Follow the diagram. the canvas is bulky and heavy. Kind a like putting up a framed canvas tent! Find your corners and know that there is a floor built in to the canvas PLUS a floor that is removable. We did not know that so the extra material confused us for awhile. Hardest part for us was getting the canvas over the frame and finding the four corners. The first corner is the CoolGrows logo on the front right corner. From there it went on easily. ... show more

  • Best Tent Out There Overall
This tent is absolutely the best overall tent on the market without spending hundreds or thousands. Even then some of the big brands can be lacking in certain areas. First, the tent fabric is sturdy. It's not gorilla thick, but it isn't $500 either. It feels like a nice sturdy canvas. Maybe a bit thicker than what you would find on an average duffel bag, for comparison. Treat it well and it will last a long time. Second, it is absolutely lightproof. There is a catch to this and you have to have your vents closed well. Pay attention to what you're doing and there will not be any problems. Third, is the number of vents on the tent. By far more than any other tent I could find. This is excellent and gives you so much more flexibility for your ventilation options. You could probably get a mini vortex going on in there! Fourth are the zippers. I know some have complained about them, but they're just inexperienced with such things. The zippers are just fine, BUT you do have to exercise caution when closing them. The tip of your finger running just in front of the zipper as you slowly and carefully zip it closed is fine. Maybe this is an inconvenience to some, but this it what it takes to keep those zippers from leaking light. There are a few things to watch out for, but they are not specific to this tent. First, make sure the height of the tent matches your needs. 60 inches (5ft) is not a lot of height once you add a powerful light, and then a container for your plants. If a container is say, 10" deep, and then you need 18" between the top of your plants and the light, that leaves you with 32" (2ft 8in) of height for your plant. Less if your light needs to be further away. Second is the number of cross bars on this size of tent. They all come with 2, but 3 would be much better. They can also be tricky to keep from sliding along the bar, but nothing that can really be done. Some light intervention with zip ties, duct tape, etc can help. Overall if you are looking for a great tent at a very reasonable price, this brand is the one you want. Taller is better, as long as you have the space. Know what your light specs are, and what you can do with the space you have. ... show more
