Sturdy chair able to fit and hold my 315lb husband. Comfortable a fits on my small townhouse patio. Pretty easy to put together and easy clean up for spills. However the fabric isn’t as sturdy as I’d like it but then again my husband still hasn’t learn to get rid of the chain attached to his pants so the constant rubbing is wearing out the fabric. ... show more

The chair was pretty easy to put together, probably took about 15 minutes in total. Once put together, it looks nice and is pretty comfortable for an outdoor patio chair.

    • Good chair bad instructions
First off the chair is great. It actually matches a set we got from Lowes a few years back and before we bought more we wanted to test this out for quality and likeness. It matches close enough to not care. It is sturdy enough for the occasional evening by the fire and drinks. Metal is typical of an outdoor piece and should last a few years before it starts to rust as long as we keep it inside in the winter and covered when possible. Paint seems adequate and fabric again, seems durable. OK, now for the fun part. First thing you want to do is throw away the instructions. I have no idea how these could have been acceptable going out the door but I could have put together an airplane with these instructions before putting together this chair. It is intuitive so no need for them anyway. But if you will take one thing from my review is this, and I have learned this from more than enough years as a maintenance guy.....put in all screws loosely before tightening down. Have all screws in but not tight until you have all of them in and the piece put together. Then tighten them all down. If you don't then screws won't line up and you will get ticked off thinking its a piece of junk. For all builds don't tighten screws or bolts down until you absolutely have to or when you have it all together. This is good advice for anything you build. Great chair for the cost! ... show more

    • One of my favorite types of patio furniture.
I own a pressure washing business and we clean a lot of patio furniture. This type of black metal furniture with the nylon mesh seating is one of my favorites. They look nice with the black finish on the metal. They're fairly comfy for outdoor furniture, and they last pretty well too. They're also not super heavy, which is a plus if you're moving them to clean a pool patio or back patio for someone. The only thing I would caution you about is make sure they never sit in standing water. The bottoms of the legs will rust out and they'll be garbage. That is, unless you take a grinder and shorten the legs. So pay attention to these in that way and they'll last a long time. This style is made under numerous brands, and the quality is all fairly the same. I would definitely recommend these types of chairs. ... show more

First off, use a drill and drill bits to put this together if you have them. Save yourself an hour of tightening up the screws. This came with two different sets of instructions and they were generic. The screws and washers didn’t match up to what was on the paper. There is a straight bar that goes in the front on the bottom. I started to use the longer screws which are in the picture for it. Well, there was a baggie with four smaller screws and washers in the box. Use the smaller screws for the bar. Otherwise, you won’t have enough of the longer screws to put this chair together. The longer screws that came sealed on the cardboard sheet are for the rest of the chair. This comes with an Allan wrench and if you choose to use it, will take you a long time to tighten everything up. I didn’t have a drill handy and wish I had. Now down to the chair itself. It’s a nice material that should hold up to the weather. The instructions came with a card saying if you notice the paint starts to have problems, sand it down with a fine sandpaper and paint it with a weather resistant paint. So I’m thinking this is going to rust over time. This is comfortable and I’m short, and my legs hit the ground just fine. I’m knocking off two stars because of the bad instructions. I put this together by myself and I did it in about an hour and a half, first because I had to hold it together alone, and next because I didn’t have a drill. The enclosed Allan wrench worked, but I had to keep going back and tighten up the screws over and over to be sure they were tight and wouldn’t come loose while you sit on the chair. I want one more to match, and when I get it, I’m going to use a drill, and get someone to help me hold it in place while assembling. I’m happy with this patio chair, but not putting it together.
