I’ll get this off the table The round taller mold (not sure what to call it) It broke after 6 pours It didn’t throw much metal thankfully but my bench got a few more burns than I would have liked The multi mold one is useful for small amounts of metal but not much else Now the big thing here The high purity crucible it does as it’s supposed to I can melt my silver without any concerns The heating table (thing?) Works well for beginners... Very saddened that one of the plates was broken when it arrived. It did come with instructions on what to do if the plate arrived in a broken state, (so this must happen often?) However after following said instructions, and emailing etc. I have yet to ever receive any type of response or replacement... One plate is ok, two would've better... This is the reason for only 4 stars... 😕 ... show more

It does not include instructions that tells you that you first have to treat the pieces before you use them. It's a starter set for beginners so it should include a little bit of literature.

Just a heads up for anyone that is planning on purchasing: this set is tiny! I bought with the intent to use in my home made "keg" forge. The crucible is about 10% the size I need. Obviously this is my mistake, but I hope no one else makes it.

First off all the supposed graphite disintegrated when heated. Turned to freaking Ash. The tongs don't actually hold the crucible either. This is a horrible product.
