Just got this today. The lighting is awesome but could be made a little sturdier. I was a little afraid to put my phone in the holder but it held together well. The instructions are crap, I figured out how to put it together from Amazon display picture.

    • The directions are incomprehensible and make the product of little value.
The directions to put this together are so vague as to be useless, leaving one wondering what to do with all the parts. They are also written by someone for whom English isn't the first language so they use verbs that don't make sense to an American speaker, There is a typo in the link that leads one to a you tube video of directions, so you have to just search on your own. The video goes very fast with no verbal instructions. There is also a nut that fits inside the mechanism that fell out when I opened the package. Had I not found it, and figured out where it belonged, the stick that adjusts the light would have been non-functional. That said, once I managed to put it together, it is a really good product. The company just needs to hire someone to create a clear set of step by step directions, and address that tiny tiny that falls out of the product when you open it. Okay ring light for the price. The directions were a bit hard to understand, as far as setting everything up, but I eventually figured it out. There's no face recognition or remote control function on this one. It's just a basic ring light with a brightness and mode control on the cord. I've mostly been using it for zoom calls and close up pictures and it works well for both. The tripod is light weight, but not the sturdiest, so I've been careful with it. ... show more
