The media could not be loaded. I'm quite in shock to the product in my hand vs the product I saw listed above. Versatile I'm sure..ease of use absolutely not, bendability and stability nonexistent unless you're somehow able to get the entire stake driven into the ground. Sturdiness and quality, I didn't attempt to bend with my hands before using these to anchor seasonal outdoor blowup decor, I had one in my hand while undoing the anchors these were ordered to replace, and it was bent.. Apparently just holding onto the stake was able to bend one side in half. Of course at this point ALL of my ground ties are loose & awaiting these new anchors. I tried everything from hand only, hammer with cloth over the end, putting the stakes in the ground before tying anything to them and bent 6 immediately. That left me without a way to bend them "back", leaving the stake skeptical for use due to it being very bent etc, Long story short, I'd originally had a 10 pack to try, but due to reviews & uses I doubled to 20 pack so I could redo all anchoring etc at once. Only a few went in as described, the rest bent as shown in the photos/video, forcing me to just continue to hammer until I had it flush to the ground..as for what side is actually in the ground 6"/what's actually anchored, I've no clue without ground penetration radar. Do NOT do what I did and order double. Try them first to see if they'll even work. These claim "EASY to USE: Easy to use sod staples with sharp angled edges that makes penetration easy into a wide variety of surfaces including SOIL, landscape FABRIC, gardens, and WOOD holes" as well as in THEIR description "Strong enough to INSERT INTO THE GROUND with adjustable width. The garden staples can be used for a long time" The only thing I don't know is the rust/long term use.. But if that's going to go how its going so far, I'm not going to hold my breath. Its WAY easier to go to an actual store to find ground stakes vs dealing with a situation like this! NOT worth the hassle! ... show more
