The skates work great! I used them straight out of the box. You can always get them sharpened if you are more experienced but they glided very well as is. They come with blade covers. Found that thicker socks work better as there is not much cushion inside. This helped with warmth and comfort.

I’m sure as I wear them more they will get more comfy. They aren’t horrible, just new and stiff. Laces are short so I’ll probably get new ones. Otherwise, they work great. Did not need to sharpen before using!
