We used this to grind down all of our 120 battery racks we had assembled at work. I still had battery life in the second battery left. I also used it to clean off the rust on some of my things at home. I have a flat top grill that gets rusted and this worked GREAT!!! I was hoping for a good machine but this one worked far beyond what we expected. It came with extra grinding disc as well. The grinder is also light weight so my arm wasn't killing after using it for the day. This tool has some other attachments for pretty much any use you could have for this type of tool. The charge of the battery was also quick when we did have to recharge the first one as well so not much down time if I were to need it quicker.     • Grinder dead in 5 minutes
Both batteries dead after two minutes of running each. Upon recharging I ran it again hoping for a longer run time, but the unit died after just one minute. Battery was still good at the time. Too bad.

    • Not the Ryobi it's trying to be. Could be a good product with a little extra effort.
I fell for this Ryobi look-a-like. What I get for just glancing at it and assuming it was a real Ryobi. A side note to Amazon: If I put a brand in the search, then only show results from that brand! You have brands in the filters so it's as simple as seeing if that word is in the filterable values and applying the filter! The angle grinder and batteries are actually pretty good. The grinder hasn't failed yet, despite being used to cut steel in a pond. Being angry that I fell for this, I didn't make an effort to keep mud and water from spraying into motor housing. Amazingly, still works like new. Quickly found out that the batteries do have over current and thermal protection. Over current is resetable by unplugging and replugging the battery. However, the label that covers the power button, power level, and battery level lights was peeling off out of the box. The guard is missing the screw that holds it on. The disc sander attachment has the wrong nut in it, so it cannot be attached. The saw attachment seems like a bad idea. This could be a good product! The battery is good, the grinder itself is putting up with the abuse I'm giving it, but it just needs that little extra. Bad Points: When received the discs were strewn about in the case. No place to carry the discs in the case so have to find a container to hold them to go from place to place. Secondly the case kept opening up, wouldn't stay shut, couldn't hold the weight. I threw the case in the garbage and am using a different carrying case. It works good and caught my eye as it looked good on the pictures but the batteries only last for like 5 minutes which won't work for me so I wasted money on this because now I have to buy the Ryobi. As I need it for work
