I bought the one that was supposed to be for a medium/ large dog and I looked at the photo size comparison but I didn't take into consideration that the measurements were in centimeters. I have a husky/ German Shepard and he couldn't even get through the door if the house the only one who could fit was my chihuahua mix who is a mini dog. After contacting the seller and asking to return the product for a refund they agreed to refund me but said I don't have to send it back since it came from China and the cost to return it would be expensive. My advice for buying the product if they said it's for a large dog just assume it's a medium to small if you need a large dog house get the next size up or larger X large or XX dog. ... show more

This is not for outdoors, cheap wood not treated at all. Way overpriced. I could build this for less than $20. I expected a lot more. Will not last more than a month outdoors without being treated, primed or painted.

The price and the pictures led me to believe it was much bigger than it is. I think the bulk of the price comes from as a result of shipping it from China. Technically you have to say it's my mistake for not seeing that the measurements were in centimeters. I was pleasantly surprised that after I complained the seller did give me a full refund and it wasn't worth the cost of shipping it back so the seller allowed me to keep it. Don't have a clue what I'll do with it even the cat doesn't fit. So if you're looking for a large doghouse you have to buy the bigger one which is even much more expensive and be sure to size it according to centimeter measurements. ... show more

The product was very easy to assemble. The packaging did kinda fail in shipping. I used this for a dog house. I did need something bigger for my german shepherd. The seller has been very quick to respond in correcting my issue.

This thing is solid. It is real solid wood, looks good, smells good, and the pup loves it. We got this for our German Shepherd and he loves it. It is very sturdy, the roof is slanted and made with real roofing so it is sufficiently weatherproof. The pup likes hanging out on the roof for better vantage points but it is large enough and roomy enough to where he can walk in and turn around and lay down. He can hang his head out the door or hide in the corner if he doesn't want to be disturbed. We also bought the insulation kit for the winter here in Washington. It fits snugly and we were still able to fit a nice memory foam mattress in there for him and he still has room to go in and relax. The bottom of the house is slatted wood so if there was no bed or anything the pup would be on wood and getting any wind drafts still. It is nice that it is raised as well because you can leave it outside and it will not get swamped on the ground and ruin the wood. The feet are plastic which helps with that. I recommend this to all. We did not screw the roof into the house since the insulation kit goes in and out via the roof but it is heavy enough to sit on there sturdy and not move whatsoever. ... show more
