I own a Tao 50cc scooter and after a couple months of sitting I began having trouble with it starting and shutting off without throttle. I had to keep it revved at stop signs or when sitting still. After researching I discovered the carburetor gets gunked up with old fuel when it sits too long. I tried to take it apart to clean it only to find it doesn't have screws to open the casing. I didn't want to drill it out so I looked for a new one on Amazon. I found this one and after reading reviews decided to try it. It was super easy to install. I did it myself. I'm a girl with no mechanic experience. I just watched a youtube video. I started up on the third try and it sounded so much better. My scooter now runs perfectly--better than it did brand new. This carburetor is a million times better than the factory one. And twice as fast! Before I could barely get up to 20mpg before the first turn on my block. With this new one I was able to get to 43 before the first turn. I haven't full opened it up but I feel like I could get at least 45mpg. I was very shocked. I didn't expect it to improve speed! This one come with screws to open case so I can easily clean. I love it! ... show more

It was an easy style everything fit perfectly and most importantly it started right up the minute. I pressed the start button runs great -very minor adjustment to the carborator . I’m very happy.

Edit 2021: gas has leaked tremendously. Thought it was something else. It’s leaking from the carb. Wrote the first review too quick. If you end up leaking gags, don’t worry. It’s just the carb going bad. I’d find a new make. I just purchased this again so my niece could get back on it until I find a new one to go with. 2020: Bought this for a taotao 50cc scooter. The scooter would bog down when full throttled and would decrease in acceleration. Always had to find the sweet spot in the throttle to get it to even go 15mph after 15mins of warm up. Wouldn’t even climb a hill with the stock carb. I installed this new carb today, took a minute for the gas to enter the carb trying to start it and about 6th attempt it fired right up. Put the seat back in and drove away. It now reaches 30 to 34mph easily. Full throttle has no issues like before. Climbs hills with a breeze. Great carb. Not sure how it’ll be in two weeks to a month, but if there are any issues, I’ll be back to comment. Probably won’t have any issues. Put it on the same way you took it off. Only difference is I kept the fuel filter bowl on the new carb and attached the fuel line hose to clear fuel bowl. Stock carb didn’t have one and the fuel line ran straight into carb.     • Replacement for OEM carb 2021 Kymco Agility 50 (E4)
Replaced my 2021 Kymco Agility 50 (E4) carb with this one. Fired up right out of the box. The OEM carb would've cost me almost 200 Euros. The only major difference is that this carb does not have the Throttle Position Sensor that the OEM carb had. No issues so far.
