I ordered this enclosure for my AnkerMake M5 printer. I have it in my basement and the temperature and humidity can fluctuate significantly so I decided it was time for an enclosure. The initial item arrived damaged so I returned it for a replacement. The replacement arrived in good shape. The unit is well packaged and seems to be made of quality materials. The plexiglass panels are protected by a film which is a nice touch. The film needs to be removed before assembly and it can sometimes be a challenge to get it started but Fnatr provides a tool to help peel it up. Also note, the edges of the plexiglass can be quite sharp so take care or wear gloves when assembling the enclosure. The unit is relatively simple to assemble but I encourage everyone to read through the manual entirely before starting to assemble the enclosure. For example, the screws which hold the top and bottom to the metal frame will protrude above the top and below the bottom UNLESS you tighten them enough to countersink them. This is intended and is described in the manual. Once assembled, the unit is sturdy and attractive. It fits my printer nicely with a decent amount of room to spare. The integrated light inside the enclosure is quite nice. The integrated filter and fan, however, I'm not so sure about. To be fair, I haven't used them while printing but the fan seems somewhat anemic. My only real complaints are: 1. While the enclosure provides three external entry points for filament (left side, top, right side), this may prove problematic for printers, like the M5, where the filament loads from the left side of the printer. Only time will tell on this issue, I think. 2. The integrated light and fan are controlled by a touch-button on the top of the enclosure. I'm not a huge fan of this. Furthermore, the light and fan are powered by a USB C cable that plugs into the side of the top panel. This cable arrangement mars what is otherwise a sleek and attractive enclosure. I'm going to route the cable so it's out of the way. In the scheme of things, this is certainly nitpicky but it seems like the USB cabling was an afterthought for an enclosure that is otherwise well thought out. ... show more

Hm where to start? Why I got this: Well because I print in a cold Midwestern US basement where there’s drafts from the walls, the HVAC and a dehumidifier. My printers are next to a washer and dryer and the dryer lint constantly leaves little dust everywhere so I opted for this. I don’t have an Ikea nearby, so I opted getting this over shipping a lack table for an absurd amount of money and this being a subjectively “cleaner” looking option. I at the time of writing do not have any intention of printing in anything that creates fumes. There's currently limited options in this space aside from the ones that are basically radiant insulation boxes which I don't like the idea of. Assembly: I’d say assembly went by pretty easy and straight forward. Except putting the top on was kind of a pain, ended up knocking one of the doors out of it’s place and scratching it. Of course right in the middle in a super noticeable spot -.- (Can't see it in photos easily at least). I would say that I would deviate from the procedure and put in the doors last, then put the printer inside without the lid on, route all your cables as needed because for example, my Ender 3 Pro’s PSU cable would not fit through the cut out area of the enclosure. General semi-organized thoughts: Build quality seems good. It’s inherent in plexiglass that static will attract dust and hair so expect that. Also expect lots of fingerprints. The tops and bottoms were stronger than expected and doors are adequate. They are a plastic material which I imagine would be easy to modify by drilling, etc. Box for shipping seemed to be packaged reasonably well and don’t think there’s much room for improvement there aside from maybe reinforcing corner protection with harder cardboard. I think that the manufacturer should include plastic grommets or trim of some sort for the holes for cable management. The included fiberglass cuttings would not sit flush with mine. Beyond that, I would take note if you plan for some reason moving your cables around frequently, as I probably will with the sonic pad, I imagine that the cable over time will become frayed as the edges are quite sharp. More on the side panels later below. The light, is adequate for the most part. It’s not as bright as I hoped and I may supplement it, but if you have better lighting within the room it may suite your needs. I did not take a photo in the dark, as post processing on my phone would ruin that and make it appear brighter. The placement of the power port is right on the side of the light/fan shroud , so you may need to plan on getting cable management stick on clips if you’re into that. Note at least the imperial measurements on the listing are wrong at the time of this review writing. I went in with the assumption that it was 24” deep and would fit perfectly on my Craftsman work bench. Rough measurements for the front is 24” wide and height slightly more than 23.5”. Temperature gauge is kind of what you would expect at this price point for an included built in gauge. Comparing it to my AC Infinity gauge the temperature is off by +/- 2-3 degrees (Fahrenheit) and humidity is off by +4%. As other reviewers have noted the fan does not blow very well and if using the filter/cover it stifles air flow almost entirely. It does not seem to be a particularly strong fan. I may replace it over time or add ductwork to connect to my planned resin extraction vent. May have been smarter to do a 120mm or more standard PC fan so that it's user replaceable if more ventilation is required. The feed hole mechanism that they included seems to be working smoothly with my 1.75mm filament and direct drive. Pleasantly surprised at how well it works. I imagine though if you have an extended the z axis or a larger printer you may run into some limitations with filament flexibility and need to remove it. Other/to the manufacturer/designer: Personally wish the front was not branded, and it appears to be etched in to the fiberglass from the back. I would have liked if they had chose to do branding to at least do it on the bottom panel, not on the glass portion; where arguably you’d get more photos being taken of the brand if your goal is marketing. There are openings on the two other sides for side feed options, which I think if I was in the manufacturer’s position I would only include one side cut panel that the buyer could choose which side to put on. I’d also opt to have the power cut out on that side panel as well in the back corner for cleaner cable management options. Would allow the manufacturing process to be a little bit smoother as well. An overhead web camera mount area would also be nice but I may opt for a suction cup or something DIY to relocate my current one. Overall I’d rate it a 4.5/5, but I think it’s a little expensive at $250 and wish it was at least $50 cheaper, wasn't branded and had some slight improvements. ... show more

I have a Bambu Lab P1S which is already technically in an enclosure, but I wanted to have something that is a little more closed off because I plan on using my printer for carbon fiber nylon, ASA, and ABS. It is great looking, and has just enough room for me to maneuver the printer in and out if I really need to. Honestly if it were a tiny bit wider and taller I'd be even happier. If you want to do any maintenance you'll have to of course pull it out and work on it that way. You could switch the hotend without taking it out, but for example if you want to print with TPU and have an AMS then you'll need to get behind the printer to manually load the TPU and disconnect the AMS. That will require pulling it out. I'm trying to think of a way to slide it out somehow. Maybe even another piece of acrylic on the bottom with some handles? Otherwise also it isn't perfectly air tight but the smells and even sound so far have been greatly reduced. If I put some tape or something else on the air gaps, add a dryer ventilation system, then I think I will be ready to rock and roll. Totally recommend unless you can build something custom for yourself and don't mind a big project. You're essentially paying for convenience here and that is exactly what it is. I bought this enclosure to help stop the coughing that came up since I got my printer. The LED light on the case is very bright and you can see everything very well. The exhaust fan is a little weak with the filter on there. I have an Ankermake M5C in the enclosure and it fits with plenty of room to spare.
