I live in a cold-weather state and noticed that the edges of my larger prints (especially 90 degree angles) were pulling up from the print bed, ruining larger prints midway through. After doing some research, I suspected the issue was cold drafts from a nearby window, as all the failures occurred on the side of my printer closest to the window. I decided I need an enclosure to help with this problem and, hopefully, to allow me to run prints if I moved the printer to my cold basement. The large version of this enclosure is perfect for the larger Ender 3 Max Neo printers. It is high quality top to bottom - with a firm, easily assembled frame, high quality material and excellent zippers that aren't going to start snagging after a few months of use. The enclosure is LARGE, so be sure to check the measurements of the space you want to use it. Mine hangs off my desk somewhat, but the body of the printer remains firmly seated on the desk. I've run about 15 prints since I got the enclosure and happy to say it totally took care of the problem. All my prints have locked firmly on the plate and remained there during up to a 20 hour print. The enclosure is plenty large enough to not impede travel of the printer plates, and to accommodate the filament reel off the side (though I had to angle it slightly - it still feeds fine). This item is pretty expensive for what it is, but it works as advertised and seems very sturdy. Very recommended if you want a solution for a problem like mine. ... show more

This box was easy to assembly and insulates the pinter well. The only criticism I have is that the box has a "floor" so you cannot lift the box on or off the printer, you have to place the printer into it which is a real hassle. I just took a carpet knife and cut out the bottom out so I can easily slip the box on and off the printer if need be. Works well even with the floor cut out (heat rises). ... show more

bought this for my Longer LK5 Pro. the limiting dimension of this printer and covers is Y axis needed of 700mm. this enclosure eliminated the warping problems i was having with some prints, and it'll keep the dust off. the outer reflective cover seems heavy and well made. there are some places where the stitching may tear, but some things you just have to fix. the packaging was good. all side tubing is 2-piece metal so the shipping box isn't very big. the corners of the frame are plastic and swell noticeably when the tubing is pushed in. if you're going to mallet them in, do so on a solid surface so that you can hear when the tube seats in the plastic. the problem for me was that the cover wouldn't fit over the top of the frame, any of the corners. not worth over stressing the seams and the zipper. i got out my tubing cutter and took about 5/8" off of the vertical and horizontal tubes on the top (the bottom was ok), now the cover fits nicely and doesn't stress the corners or the zipper. ... show more

I was on the fence of getting these because of the other reviews. I have 2 ender 5 pluses. I need these for the colder months but anywho, the rods are metal and labeled with 1,2,3 stickers. It’s straight forward how to put it together. There are 2 Velcro windows, one on the side and one on the top that you can either open or close. I will have to use the side window to put my power cord through because they did put the port hole on the wrong side. Doesn’t really bother me. I do suggest getting a mallet and smacking the rods in because it is a true tight fit for the frame. Once those were all smacked into place, it pretty much slid right over those corners. It’s big enough to have my filament dryer behind the printer but probably won’t need it to be in there at the same time. But I’d give it a solid 4.5/5. If that port hole was in the proper location, it’d be a 5 for me. ... show more
