    • Alarm works fine, cheap power locks
The alarm works fine and haven’t given me a problem. Pretty easy to use but I did get it professionally installed. The power locks are cheap though and one gave out after 3 weeks of installing. Just waiting on the other one to give out too.

    • You NEED relays, sold separately!
I think it's kind of messed up that this setup comes with the door lock actuators but no relay module. I installed without relays and door locks don't work. Waiting on a door lock relay module (available on Amazon for $15.00). Hope I haven't done damage to the alarm unit itself by powering the actuators without a relay. Seller makes this look like a complete setup and never once mentions in the description that it's not. I'm going to be upset if I've damage the alarm. 😡 ... show more

    • I wouldn't buy it for the 2 way pager feature. I'd stay away from Viper alarm systems
ok so after installing it and getting everything to work like door triggers and door locks as well as dome light control (when unlocking/disarming alarm dome light comes on for 30 sec controlled by the alarm) I ran into an issue with the 2 way pager not getting any status info from the alarm system. I didn't get any notifications that the alarm went off after testing it and I also didn't get notification that the car was armed/locked it remained in its default notification of car being disarmed even after i pushed the arm/lock button and the car doors were locked and the alarm was armed. The whole purpose of be purchasing this particular alarm was to have notification/status on the remote/pager so Id know id my alarm was going off or if my car was armed when I'm not near it. luckily amazon and seller offered me a refund but I did have to pay 16$ to ship it back. ALSO: shortly after having it sit in the car for a day the siren stopped chirping when I set the alarm off to test it or when arming and disarming no chirps at all. It only chirped when i was in program mode trying to pair the 2 way pager. odd.... \ after doing some research it seems that the 2 way pager system with viper is prone to having issues I wish I did more research prior to this purchase I purchased this based on amazon reviews.     • Must have relays for actuators to work! Sold separately
After purchasing relays for actuators and wiring them up with a help from youtube, alarm works fine with keyless entry. Kit has sensitive motion detection that can be adjusted but no hood trigger included.
