I used this ladder to get to the roof of a very high two story house with no problem. The disadvantage of the design is that it is not as stable as a traditional ladder but on the plus side I can carry it by one arm and climb it and I am 78 years of age. When not in use it easily fits in a corner of the garage leaning against the wall and is only about 4 feet high. This product is not at all a convenience. The extensions are at least 2 feet apart making it very difficult to climb comfortably. Also although it is light weight considering the hight it can climb to it is awkward and difficult to position.

heavier then I thought ( my mail lady could not lift) but still easy enough to move around, this is my first telescoping ladder so it does feel a little more flexible/ bouncy but is sturdy and trust-able for high reach's like a barn truss I like the ladder but d wish it came with a storage bag like I have seen on other telescoping ladders ... show more

The steps are far apart as other reviewers stated. Was not a problem for me. The ladder is very flexible so you need to have someone hold it when fully extended. I have not had any issues as I am not afraid of heights or the wobble so it has been a great ladder for me.

I was hoping to really like this product but it's not very safe to use. I weigh 190 lbs and It can barely handle that. The ladder has to be used at a steeper incline than a usual extension ladder. If you're using below 15 or so feet, then this should work. Anything above that, I wouldn't trust the material on the ladder as it gets slimmer towards the top. ... show more

    • Steps Too Far Apart. Moving the extended ladder is difficult due to weight

The ladder steps are too far apart (look at any other extension ladder and notice the number of steps versus this extended one). In order to make any step manageable, I had to extend the whole thing. (the steps bunched together before extending make it even FARTHER apart). With the majority of the 40lb weight over my head, moving it was "ill-advised" (read near catastrophic tip over). ... show more

    • Can be dangerous if you’re heavy set

I weigh 138lbs and when this ladder is fully extended I feel sketched out and I get on ladders every day. It’s not a bad ladder for what it is but the way the sections clip in seem like they have the ability to easily pop out and this can be dangerous! When it’s fully extended it’s pretty wobbly and not sturdy so standing near the top is pretty questionable. Also, if you use it as say a 6 foot ladder, the bottom rung has all the other sections so you have to step up basically an extra foot. Pretty sketch just for that too. ... show more
