I gave it a 4 based on the instructions for putting it together. It was hard to differentiate pieces and how they fit together simply due to the scale of the diagrams of the parts. You really have to look to make sure you're not putting something on upside down and the directions and the images in the paperwork make it a bit of a challenged. Putting together took two people due to the size and keeping parts together as you worked through the steps. Overall it seems like it is fairly sturdy. We put it together on a hard flat surface and carried it to its final location and it felt solid enough for a large plastic bin. I'm not sure I would sit on it or stack anything on top of it, although it might be strong enough. Hard to say. We'll see how it does in weather. We're not storing anything of any value so not terribly concerned. All being said, I would recommend this for basic outdoor storage for things that are not terribly valuable. I'm storing outdoor Halloween decorations. I'm purchasing a second one for Christmas decorations to free up some garage space. ... show more

When I was putting this together, I didn't think it would last long but it actually is pretty strong. I have had it outside for a couple of months and it has not faded or warped. I like that I can use it as a end table and also a storage box, great for small spaces.

This is great for added outdoor storage. It is very easy to set up. It doesn't take up a ton of space but holds what I need it to. It seems pretty durable (although I wouldn't leave it out in the middle of a hurricane). I purchased their 260 gallon deck box. It was packed and delivered well. It assembled easily enough with their directions however my box was missing the metal hasp locking piece. I reviewed all of the documentation and there is NO way to contact the manufacturer to request a replacement piece. I contacted amazon and was told that i could return it for a new unit - but that amazon doesnt supply parts. My 260 gallon box is fully assembled - taking it apart isnt a realistic option.     • Great little storage box
Picked this box up to move some of my kids and dogs outdoor toys out of the pile on the patio and into a more clean looking storage box. Assembly was easy and required no tools, simply follow the instructions and everything just clips together. It arrived on time with some slight damage (nothing structural). The instructions were generally clear and it was pretty easy to put together. Time will tell how well it holds up, but at this point it seems worth the cost.

    • Extra yard storage
After opening the package, I was skeptical that the resin plastic panels were durable because they were so flexible. However, after following the assembly guide in the 12-page instruction manual (they must know I need big illustrations and text to read), the final product is durable. The side panels snap together on three sides with firm pressure at three points on each edge. The bottom panel snaps together on all four sides, and the top lid has two snap-in hinges at the back. Fully assembled, it easily bore my weight when sitting on top of it. This deck box features side handle indentions, simulated wood-textured slat design, and a lid that can accept a lock to secure contents. This is an attractive solution to reduce yard clutter by stowing hand tools, hoses, kid's toys, pool accessories, bags of soil or compost, etc. I could probably use either a larger bench-sized box or multiple boxes for my own back yard. While there's need to worry about a wood rotting or needing to be re-stained from water damage, be aware that this box is not watertight. The closed lid and sides will protect contents from direct weather, but I would not place in a low spot in the yard where water might be left standing after a hard rain, nor would I place water-sensitive items inside it. ... show more
