As stated, this HAS TO HAVE THE ACCOMPANYING SCANTOOL TO WORK. I use the X431 Pro V 4.0+, and they work well. I haven’t had a tpms this wouldn’t communicate with during training. It displays battery life, pressure, temperature, and serial number. Pressures are accurate, serial numbers all match up. The tool feels well built, and has a solid rubber casing. It is usb-c rechargeable, and it appears Launch is making the switch to usb-c for all their devices. Updates are performed on the scantool side of things, and so far it’s been doing the tpms that out Autel couldn’t. Highly recommend this tool if you have the accompanying scantool ... show more

    • Great customer Service!!
This device was easy to use with my current X431 V+. It takes some time getting use to it with practice but nothing a few minutes will not sort out. PROS: 1. Pairs easily 2. heavy duty design 3. Reads sensors as it should 4. Great customer service 5. The learn feature was seamless CONS: 1. Instructions stated to bind the product and you dont. You just go to the TPMS menu and turn it on an it pairs with no password? 2. Bluetooth connection takes a bit to learn. Theirs a certain way you must connect it every time. You have to let the scanner start looking for the device then turn the TMPS device on for it to connect. 3. This device has a hard time reading installed sensors on steel wheels. Once you learn how to place the device you’ll be good. Overall this is a great tool if you need to learn sensors. To be transparent I used factory DENSO sensors (already programmed) on a 08 Camry so didn’t test the programming feature. I purchased from Kingbolen if that makes a difference. This is a great tool for the Launch platform. I received it on 29 Feb 24 and talked with customer service a few days later. They got me sorted out and I love the product. ... show more

    • What a nightmare!!!
Upon receiving the TMPS tool, I was initially optimistic about its compatibility with my X431 V+ diagnostic tablet. However, its performance left much to be desired. PROS: 1. The tool boasts a robust, heavy-duty design. 2. It was promptly shipped and arrived without delay. CONS: 1. Despite being provided with a pin for connecting the device to the X431, the instructions lacked clarity on its usage, leading to initial confusion. 2. Connecting the device via Bluetooth proved to be challenging, requiring the initiation of a specific scanning option before establishing a connection. This process could be streamlined for user convenience. 3. Syncing the TMPS tool with the sensor posed significant difficulties, prompting extensive research and troubleshooting efforts. Despite investing nearly an hour, the process remained cumbersome and frustrating, particularly with the unexpected failure to OBD learn. Eventually, sensor learning to the ECM was achieved, albeit after a laborious three-hour ordeal. Even after implementing the recommended firmware fix, persistent issues persisted. The unnecessarily arduous learning process for pre-programmed sensors undermines the tool's efficiency. Regrettably, I cannot wholeheartedly endorse this product. While I hold my LAUNCH X431 in high regard, I caution against investing in TMPS handheld tools based on this experience. I'm floored by the versatility of this unit. I haven't found a TPMS sensor yet that this won't read. Great product. WILL NOT COMMINICATE WITH SNAPON SCANNERS. FOR LAUNCH PRODUCTS ONLY. I tried with a Solus and a Modus to upload the sensor data but it won't connect. It will connect to my X431 Launch scanner. ... show more

Used this to program 4 launch sensors to a 2016 cruze. It worked. I own a small dealer so i will try on 4 more cars i have. Will update... one weird thing was, it never asked me to register the product... it kind of bind to my x-431v+ and started working.... will see of any issues.
