The heads of the screws are just big enough to work and still be able to tuck firmly and safely into the cushions without being seen. I used them to put a new cover on my outdoor day bed. They absolutely worked great for what I was doing. They hold what ever your twisting them in wonderful. My day bed looks great. Very easy to install, and I didn't break one, which surprised me. They don't look as sturdy as they are. The transparent tops are very nice, almost invisible. They are a great quality for the price.
