My pair of headphones found a new home on this clamp. It saves my desk space. I like that there's nothing to screw. All I had to do was pull the clamp apart and let it bite onto the edge of my desk. It holds surprisingly well. Would buy again if need be.

My desk is almost 1.5 in thick and the holder is able to clamp onto it. It holds both my headphones and Neckband (with room for more). I like that it swivels and has a cord holder. Definitely recommend this item if you need a holder for your desk.

Update after a couple months: The clamp that holds it onto my table is holding beautifully. No problems there. The hook portion that actually holds the headphone rotates 360 degrees around the vertical portion, which allows for flexibility in where you hang the headset. Perhaps a bit too easily though - I've accidentally knocked it and wound up spinning it partway around with the headset in place. The "stop" at the end of the hook could stand to be a bit larger; if you've got a larger headset like my Bose QC35, a sudden movement of the swivel, or the table the device it's on, can allow the headset to bounce over the stop and fall to the ground. OVerall though, still very, very pleased. I stumbled across an under-desk headphone hanging hook gadget while noodling around Amazon for something completely unrelated. I looked at the first one and instantly realized how useful such a thing would be: I use a headset quite a lot for my job, and there simply is no good place to put it when I'm not using it. The first one I saw would clamp onto a desk, and hang the headset underneath with a hook. That wouldn't work for me: I work at home, and my "desk" is a smallish rolling cart that holds my laptop, mouse and not much else. A headset hanging underneath would get knocked off constantly. I really needed one that holds the headset above the surface. Most of those, however, simply rest on the surface with a weighted base. Fine for some uses, but I knew such a stand would fall over constantly, every time I moved the desk. Then I stumbled across this one, which was the best of both options. You could mount it to store the headset under the table, or above. The height is adjustable - with a top mount, and a full over-ear headset, you'll want the entire height. The height adjusts by loosening a screw, moving the vertical part, then tightening the screw down to lock it in that position. The part that clamps onto the desk gives me pause: it's simply spring-mounted versus something that locks with a screw. The spring is quit solid - I had to work to get the jaws apart to slide it onto the edge of my table - but I wonder if that will hold up over time. That's why I've rated it 4 stars instead of 5. But overall, I'm very, very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

This is one of those things that you don’t know you need till you had one and when its gone your desk just ain’t the same. Being able to storage my headphone in a safe place where I can easily get to them when I switch from my speakers to headphones is nothing less then a godsent and when you also bundle in the fact you don’t need adhesive, this make buying it more attractive then the headphone hook that do need adhesive, and don’t get me started with the drill on hooks. The quality seem a bit better on the new one but it is still made of plastic which isn’t really a problem. Hook is definitely built with a adaptable design that give you more options when it comes on to placement, so you can clip it and point it up above you desk or below. The head as this rubberized fraction mat that will help stop you from bumping you headphone off the hook plus it can swivels and extend. In conclusion this is a vital piece to any fulled kited workstation/gaming set up I simply can't picture my desk with out it. The only thing I can say I didn’t like is the cable router location but that just being nit picky. ... show more
