My hobby is making jewelry, mostly with beads and jump rings help attach the clasps on both necklaces and bracelets. I found the tweezers that are slightly magnetic to be so helpful in keeping the ring right where I need it. This is a VERY NICE set to purchase. The jump rings are a bright silver which matches the lobster claws in the package and a new set of pliers and tweezers as well as a ring that opens and closes the jump rings with ease comes in the set. I have used the finger rings before and they save your fingernails from splitting every time you try to open and close a jump ring. Very easy to slide onto your thumb or forefinger and use the pliars to pry against the finger ring to open and shut. Saves a lot of frustration. Highly recommend this nice set. ... show more

Update:: I reordered these jump rings specifically for one size that was in them originally. Instead I received two slots of the same size and the one that’s missing is the size I needed 😣 Another edit: The seller reached out to me and made it right! These are by far my favorite jump rings to use. I will warn that they can take some getting used to. They are significantly thicker than most jump rings you can buy. So when I first bought them, I hated them because I broke earrings attempting to squeeze them together! But once I got a multi tool that allowed me to grip them better, now they work great, and I don’t think I’ve broken an earring since! I love that they are so sturdy. I don’t feel like my designs could come apart and I don’t feel like I have to squeeze the jump ring to the point that it doubles up and looks tacky. I have now ordered three of these guys! I will say I wish I knew where to buy just the jump rings. Because now I have three pairs of pliers that I don’t need. ... show more

What's there to say about jump rings? They either do their job or they break - and these do their job, so it's a success! I'm not brand loyal by any means, so I picked this particular set based solely on value. The inclusion of clasps and pliers was a definite bonus, and will come in handy even though I don't necessarily need them at the moment. The little ring opener thing, however? So happy to have one! I swear, I've lost every one of those I've ever had, and they're so useful. It's also nice that this set comes in a case; I usually get my jump rings in baggies that I then have to empty into a tackle box, so it's definitely more convenient this way. Overall I'd say that the jump rings themselves are, you know, the usual - but the included extras make this set a better value than most. ... show more

I gave 4 stars on the sturdiness level because for some reason the pliers started to break in-between the handle and needle nose and eventually snapped off, i had them for less than a year, not very long but other than that the jump rings are strong, i used them for my epoxy earrings

I bought this set mainly for the container and the pliers. Everything came in a resealable bag, the container of jump rings was shrink wrapped, the pliers were in plastic, the other stuff was loose in the bag. This has real value for money, as these are a LOT of jump rings! I got these because I wanted to work on some key chains, and needed big jump rings, but also, you never know what little project you'd get up to for the different sizes.
