  • Perfect
Super heavy but works great

  • Buying my 2nd set of 4.
I have been extremely happy with these batteries for my cabin's solar power setup. They function as stated and although there was a recent price increase, I still feel like they are a good value. I am ordering my 2nd set of four batteries.

  • Do NOT recommend this company.
I purchased four of these batteries on January 11, 2021. They were beautiful. Each was an exact match to the other three and each lived up to the description the company gave. I took out the old batteries from my battery bank and installed these four. They did and do work exactly as advertised. I was so excited that in March I ordered four more. I ordered them, paid for them and patiently waited for them to arrive. When they were supposed to be delivered someone declined and cancelled the order and shipped them back to Mighty Max. I contacted Fed Ex immediately and told them the delivery was not canceled and that I would be in to their warehouse to pick them up. When I arrived at the warehouse they had inadvertently sent them back to Mighty Max earlier in the day. So... I contacted Mighty Max and explained that nothing should have been canceled and that I would appreciate it if they could return my batteries. The young lady I was speaking with said that two of them were already on their way back but that they had already sold the other two and that they were out of the batteries I’d ordered. After a little discussion she asked me if I would mind waiting a few weeks until they could replenish their supply. I said no problem, as two of them were do to arrive any day and that would give me six of the eight batteries I wanted and explained that I could live for a couple of weeks with only six. Within a couple of days the first two of the last four arrived but they looked nothing like the original four. They were shorter both length and height wise and the batterie posts were not even close to the same. I contacted Mighty Max and they started blowing smoke up my keester by telling me that even though they do not look exactly the same the specs are exactly the same (they are not) and they told me that they have different suppliers which use different casings but the insides are exactly the same. BS. Less lead makes for a lighter battery and one that will not last as long duh... that and the fact that the posts are completely different and in a different location. But that be as it is I said I would take their word for it. I made sure they were fully charged to an equal level to my existing batteries, and installed them onto my battery bank. They did not remain equalized. They dropped to 12.2volts within a couple of hours and drew the other batteries down with them but I said what the heck. Let’s see what they do when the last two batterie arrive. A little over two weeks latter my last two batteries arrived and much to my dismay neither of them looked anything like either of the other six. The battery posts were even closer together than the last two were from the first four, the battery was shorter in height, shorter in length and.... well. I contacted the company and sent them pictures and meter readings etc. they again said the batteries should work. I installed them onto my battery bank and as I kept saying they did not work. I contacted them again and asked for the last four batteries to be replaced with four of them that are a perfect match for the original four and shipping labels to return the last four or shipping labels for the last four and a full refund for those last four. They gave me a link to print the shipping labels and told me that the batteries needed to be returned in the boxes they were originally shipped in along with the little bolts, nuts, etc. I told them that the bolts and nuts, washers etc. we’re not a problem but I do not leave trash lying around my property and since I was not expecting to need to return the batteries, nor did anyone submit to me that I should store the boxes and packing material for a month or more, I was not going to be able to send them back in their original boxes. I shared with them that if they needed to have the batteries returned in the boxes they could send me the four matching batteries to the original four batteries I received from them and I would return the last four in the boxes the new batteries would be arriving in. They contacted me and shared that they understood that I do not have the original packing and that they would send me four boxes to return the last four batteries in. It’s been weeks and still no boxes, no communication and no batteries. As far as I am concerned they can stick their batteries up their @$$. I’m out almost $1,500.00 and the lost time (time is valuable to me. Sorry) not to mention the stress and aggravation. If I can save one of you the frustration I’ve been experiencing since I decided to become a return customer of Mighty Max then this review will be worth it. There is no uniformity in their products. There is no quality control and their customer service sucks. Recommendation? Spend a little more and buy from a company that appreciates their customers. ... show more

  • 50% failure rate
My previous review was taken down for some reason. I wonder why? I bought 24 of these for a whole house battery backup/solar off grid solution. After 6 months of cyclic use,10 of the 24 failed to store more than 20 total usable amp hours. I tested and verified this, but mighty max failed to deliver on their warranty. They are not 200 ah batteries. They do not have a 5 year service life. These are cheaply made, refurbished batteries and the company does not honor their warranty. They dont stand by their product and neither should you. I do not reccomend them. ... show more

  • Seems to be Good
Price is good. Seller is helpful if contacted. Packed Well. I have 8 total. FedEx is a bit rough with them and the tiny girl driving has trouble lifting, but the packaging saves the day. Can't comment on the life yet, but I only D.O.D. to 20% max, so I fully expect 3 to 5 years. Will update if I get less. ... show more
