Ok, so yes, it's cheap, so temper these comments with that price point consideration. The app is ok, but clunky. Setup was pretty easy, but it would not search well for contact names, and I had to use the phone nos. of the contact list to find and add my favorites on the watch, which defeats the purpose. Also, I do not think it holds a lot of contacts, not sure how many, because a lot I wanted to add it could not find, but it seems like it can search only a hundred or so. Screen is the best feature, and is very bright--good job HuaWise. Also, be aware that even though you get 5 stock watch faces, and you have available for download around 70 other watch faces with the discover feature, but the watch only allows a single watch face to be downloaded into the watch. So, you only get the boring 5 stock watch faces and a single one you download, which is ridiculous. I verified this with their support, who actually responded via email pretty quickly, and in decent English! Also, the quick view feature (turn the wrist to turn on the face to see time) is quirky, going off a lot with any arm motion. You must set a strict time period to turn it off so that it is not going off all of the time while you sleep. The watch face discovery feature is pretty cool, but very time confusing (like 20 mins to get to the end of the watch face list!) and awkward. They need to redesign the app to allow the full download all watch faces onto the phone, and then redo the interface so that a small, tiled screen can be shown that shows a lot more that a user can select to see quickly. The current process is horrible. I rarely review privacy policies, but given all of the info sharing hype with the CCP with drones, I did this time. In reviewing the privacy policy, you basically authorize that the company HuaWise Fit (aka long Chinese name) can use any information that is allowed to be accessed for virtually any reason, and further they tell you that they provide the information to third parties. This is completely unacceptable. As you know, Americans are very worried that Chinese companies collect and forward US citizen data to the CCP. Since they access the contacts on the phone, and location information, and physical information about the user, do we really want to provide authorization to HuaWise Fit to collect and share any info they want to third parties? I do not think so. I deactivated access for contacts, and phone logs, but kept position info, which is needed for running metrics. Read the privacy policy if you dare. It's in the App under "About." This product is amazing and i am so happy with it and ill tell you why. It connects to my phone and comes with a free app that has many settings that ajust to you specifically. It has the time where you can either touch the watch or have it set to where you move your wrist and it automatically comes on. It then tells you how many steps you have taken for that day, how many calories you have burned for the day and how many miles you have walked that day. It takes your heart rate through out the day and calculates an average heart rate through out the day. It tracks your sleep and tells you how many hours of sleep your getting and when you are most restless while sleeping. This is my favorite feature. It will vibrate when you are getting a phone call or text message or facebook message. Which is up to you on which messages you want your watch to notify of. You can connect your watch to wifi and bluetooth and it does not drain your phone battery. And it also has a stop watch. In the app it comes with it also gives you the option to track how much water your drinking and your weight goals. It comes with two different colored bands to choose from. I had a few smart watches throughout the years and most cost a lot . This time I wanted to get something that was good for the price and still give me good quality of life improvements. This device have everything you can expect from a 2022 smart watch. It has an extensive suite of health related apps for traking everything from steps to bpm's and health goals ( that's just a few of dozen of health traking info). It has wifi and bluetooth connectivity for getting calls and texts ( you can't send texts just recieve them which Is ok) I never had to call someone from my watch ( but works ; I tried lol) but it's awesome that the capability is there and I'm sure a lot of other people use it. You can customize your watch until your heart is content with watch faces that let's you choose where in the screen to show the time ,date etc. Even let's you use a personal photo as a wallpaper. Something that I think is awesome is the ability to use 22mm watch bands which is probably one of the most used sizes, so you can find a variety of different bands to customize this watch and make it your own. I changed the black band to a blue one that was super cheap and came with an additional one. It also came with a screen protector ; I was going to buy one but I was glad to get one with the watch. It. Also charges via magnetic connection making it easy to charge without having to look for a charging port. Plus the battery life is very good lasting me almost 5 days. Overall an all around good watch; for the price you can't beat it, is easy to use and sync with your phone and the app is super simple to use.
