1-14-24 I'm back to order more! Of the 3 or so different brands I've tried, thus far these are the best. They're made of thick stock not cheap flimsy mild steel with painted not galvanized, which I'm sure you've already ran across while browsing for these. You won't regret ordering these look no further. They're are made of quality components, not thin mild steel as others I've tried which broke near the welds and rusted after the 1st rain in Phoenix AZ a dry climate. I'm using these to raise my 5' fence to keep others peoples pets out of my yard away from my dogs. The project is only partially done, I tackle it as money allows, I have close to 1000' of fence line to raise and am using 1 extension post roughly every 10' Stear clear of the ones I shared photos of and are advertised as how easy they slide over your top rail. Just buy these, yes it takes a little more effort to get them over the rail, but not much. With this Chenteel brand, you won't be wasting your time or money and won't regret it. These are just as heavy as the fencing posts that I am adding them too. I didn't expect that. I figured at the very least they would be lighter or not made as heavy, yet they are made exactly as the fence posts are that they are going above to extend. These are for those really big jobs that require strong, durable extensions. They are a bit too heavy for my little area of fencing that I wanted to extend without having to use such heavy, more permanent materials. I recommend these to anyone who needs a strong, durable, long lasting extended fencing area as these are made just that way and you get nine of them to spread out as far or close as you desire. ... show more

We got these to extend the height of our organic garden fence to keep the doggies out. They are heavy and very solid, so needed some muscle to hold up and install, but the brackets fit our existing fence perfectly so that worked out pretty well. We extended our original 3 footer to a solid 5 feet and with the clamp design, you can adjust the angle of your extension or keep it straight up, which is what we need the most. These extensions also look like they are painted and prefinished, unlike my original fence which is natural steel. All in all I am pretty happy with these poles. Recommend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We got these for the back yard. My dog is always jumping the fence. It's been too cold to do anything lately but we tested it out. So the bottom opening didn't quite fit with the screws that were provided. The screw part only goes about half way so when you try to tighten it you can only tighten it so much. We just went to our local hardware store and bought the full length screws to tighten it to where we needed it. So it did adjust after the fact. I did include a video though that shows it still moves a little, but I feel like once we complete and finish it, it will serve its purpose. These were stronger and heavier than I thought they would be. I included the measurements as well which were also correct as listed. They add some extra height to your already existent fencing. You have to purchase your own separate fencing or barbed wires. I think it'll do the trick once completed. ... show more

The product sounded great, so I bought it but it was the wrong measurement to the chain link fence. I am in the process of returning the product, but was given a QR code. I've been wanting this for a while so I could make my 4' fence higher and when I looked online I saw that there were about a dozen vendors for these all carrying the same size. Silly me assumed that this was the standard size since no other sizes were being offered and I didn't measure my top post as they suggested. Turns out my post is about 1 and 1 eighth instead of the 1 and 5 eighth requirement. Even though I wasn't off by much, these weren't even close to fitting. At least you can learn from my mistake and go outside with your measuring tape instead of guessing like I did because if you are off a little they won't work. So I obviously can't tell you how well they install but they are heavy, quality pieces. The box that they arrived in really was heavy. . I am disappointed and I feel like the unlucky girl in cinderella who wasn't able to fit into the magic slipper. The missing star is for the lack of sizes offered ... show more

We ordered the Chain Link Fence Post Height Extender to keep the kangaroo... i mean the dog.... from jumping the fence. It was easy to install, and it beats the 2x4's and wire ties we'd been trying to use. Just make sure to measure your top rail, not the posts you already have.
