I bought this LED Lightbulb in hopes to replace my old lightbulb that had burnt out and I'm going to be honest... I'm super surprised. The Lightbulb is bright and vibrant with color, the app/customizations are absolutely amazing and I have to give props to Govee where it's deserved, the app is SUPER user friendly and straight forward, just download the app, make an account, go to devices, click the plus sign in the top right corner, select the product you bought (In my case it was the H6001 LED Lightbulb), it'll search for a Bluetooth device nearby and BOOM, it's connected and you can change the color, brightness or other various settings to whatever you like, weather that be Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple or any other color that you desire because they have a color wheel to choose that EXACT color you want, not to mention but this lightbulb actually has not affected my electricity bill at all, if anything it lowered it from my previous lightbulb, Govee seems to NEVER fail on product quality or customer service! Oh and here's some tips/troubleshooting for anyone having some various questions! - When searching for your device in the Govee Home app, ensure the lightbulb is fully screwed in and on like you would do with a normal lightbulb, I was confused at first because I just screwed the light bulb in and forgot to turn on my stand to actually give it power, after I turned it on, it found my lightbulb instantly! - Make sure you have Bluetooth on, the lightbulb won't work without it! - If you're wondering why the "White" is pink-ish/not bright, below in the app on your device where you select colors there's a bar labeled with "Warm White" and "Cold White" turn it all the way to "Cold White" and it'll be SUPER bright and be a full white color. If you're still having issues after these such as your lightbulb isn't being recognized in the app or your having other various problems, Govee offers a "Rapid Replacement" that can be found under the profile tab or you can contact them via their website (govee.com/support) and find more help there! Overall, I think this LED/RGB Lightbulb is really solid and well worth the price after 2 months of use and I will keep everyone updated if anything happens in the next month's (8/14/22). ... show more

I got this for a plastic beer clock with a bulb just so I could turn it off and on, the clock has no switch for the light and I don’t want to just leave it on. I haven’t tried it in the clock yet but the color options seem endless. Very simple setup but make sure you get the Govee home app not the first one that App Store gives when you search Govee. I got wrong one and paid for subscription before I got the free Govee home app. The other one only turns on and off but no color settings work. Will buy more of these. ... show more

These bulbs are amazing. You can create a vibe, change a room and update your room aesthetics for literally $10. I have used them in lamps and overhead fixtures. I also love that at night I can sit in my driveway, connect to the Bluetooth and turn my lights on before I walk inside juggling a child and a whatever else. I got this light for my overhead in my bedroom. Time will tell the quality of the build, but I'm liking it so far. The ability to dim on in a standard socket is amazing and it suffiecintly lights my room in whatever color I choose. Very comparable to my name brand 800 lumen I bought years ago in intensity, with the benefit of color and dim ability. The app is fluid and responsive, but that may be owed to it's simplicity and scope. Rather than a color wheel or chart, you have one single color line to work with. So although you can probably do all the advertised millions of colors, you're more at the mercy of your finger twitch/position rather than your eyes or color value. That said, it has a few presets that should fit most needs; dim as you see fit. MAKE NO MISTAKE, this light does not have a speaker installed. HOWEVER, It does have a microphone feature in the app that will change your light according to what your phone hears. It works "okay", but feels a little off. If it went of the beat, the groove, or something quantifiable rather than the sound intensity , it would probably be better. That said, you don't have to use it, and If you don't trust the app on listening it, you can disable the permissions of this feature. It is the weakest feature to me. For better or worst, the light will remember what your last setting was. So if you can't find your phone for some reason, just flip the physical switch and it can come back on or off, even if you turned it off in the app. Bottom Line Overall, a solid color changing light. It's the right price point as of now (I got it for around $15). I hope I can get 4 or 5 years out of it. Bulbs add ambiance as I wanted to the rooms they were placed in. Simply use app to change settings when I want. Nothing particularly high tech about it all, but they serve the simple purpose they were purchased for.

I love the controls of the app and how its been updated! I have govee wall lights and have loved them so decided to try out the bulb and im excited already! Love how it looks like a plain old light bulb blends in with the others and doesnt have a weird different hue. 10/10 would recommend
