πŸš€ Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

Users have given positive reviews overall for this canopy. Its easy assembly and bug-resilient attributes have been praised, with many users also complimenting its size and looks. However, it seems that it could do with some improvements in its sturdiness, particularly to withstand stronger wind conditions. Some reviewers mentioned difficulty in setting it up single-handedly and poor-quality instructions provided.

Pros

  • πŸ•οΈ Easy to assemble
  • πŸ•·οΈ Comes with a bug net
  • πŸŽͺ Ample size (13x13)
  • πŸ‘Œ Resilient to weather conditions, generally

Cons

  • 🌬️ May not stand strong in high-wind conditions
  • 🚫 Some complications with single-person assembly
  • πŸ“ƒ Poor-quality instructions
  • 🚧 Need to disassemble fully after each use

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a reasonably priced and sizeable gazebo, and you don't mind a bit of assembly and disassembly, this product could quite possibly work for you. It's best to be wary of windy conditions and potentially needing to take it down and put it back up frequently.

  • Easy to set up
Color: Gray Size: 13x13
Easy to set up canopy, arrived with a broken piece but they responded to the return claim right away . Sturdy for a pop up canopy just like with any pop up make sure you stake it down and don’t leave up in high winds . Nice canopy though !

  • Well Made Canopy but Be Smart
Color: Gray Size: 13x13
I love my new ABC CANOPY. I can't speak about the water resistance yet because it hasn't rained, but I want to let people know that it is well made. I feel like this is @ least a two person job. I wouldn't say it is impossible for one person, just easier with an extra hand. CAUTION: EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: If you want to keep this up outdoors all Summer you can but only if you use something other than the stakes & tie downs that come with it. The weight bags could be better also. I would suggest for bags to purchase the larger, taller ones made also by ABC CANOPY. In total they hold up to 130 lbs. of sand , pea gravel, dirt, whatever you choose to use for weight. If you want to leave this up in 25 mile an hour wind, & rain you can. But this is not a hardtop Gazebo and if you are putting it on the lawn in your yard you need to purchase a different type of ground anchor. I would suggest @ least 16" L ground " Earth Augers" . They make some nice heavy duty ones nowadays. Then purchase an" Augo" ratchet set. Augo makes the best & you can purchase the "Earth Augers" and the" Augo ratchet sets "right here on Amazon. The ratchet set comes with 4 straps about 15' long w/ really heavy duty hooks. Just put the earth Augers in the ground first, and screw them down into the earth either manually , or some have an attachment where you can use a drill to turn them. Avoid areas with roots & rock obviously and once flush with the ground attach one end of the ratchet strap to each earth auger and hook to inside top steel bar of the canopy ,tighten the ratchet & all set. If you do not you will find your canopy in your neighbor's yard,or upside down & ripped out of the ground ,even seen broken windows . These will withstand a normal summer thunderstorm and some wind if you do this. The stakes & ties that come with this product will not hold it down and your Canopy will most likely be ruined along with anything in it's path when it goes airborne. VERY IMPORTANT. DO NOT USE THE GROUND STAKES AND ROPE THAT COMES WITH UNLESS YOU PLAN ON PUTTING IT UP& TAKING IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY AFTER USING IT . ... show more

  • You MUST completely Assemble and Disassemble EACH use
Color: Khaki Size: 13x13
Saw some other reviews saying this can stand up to 35MPH winds, we had a weather day of 20-30MPH winds so I figured I'd put this gazebo to the test. The follow statements are the results and observations from my "stress test". The canopy is pretty water resistant. It rains here frequently and the rain ran right off the material. The mosquito net siding is incredibly flimsy, is awkward/pathetic to set up as well (loosely attached by a rope, supported by 30-odd clips). If you put the netting outside the corner supports it is too short to zip shut. And if you put the netting inside of the corner supports, the netting just floats to the middle of your gazebo - either way it doesn't work well nor accomplish the task it is supposed to. The metal frame, arguable the most important component, is very much on the thinner side. The corner legs are sturdy enough, however the flexible top is very laughable-will bend with wind gusts-very worrisome. I understand full well this was not supposed to be a permanent structure, for lower $200 price you'll never get that. However I did expect more out of the product. At least some sort of benefit/compromise somewhere. (Sturdy but difficult, or flimsy but quick. You don't really get either. It's difficult and flimsy). It's not too difficult to set up by yourself, but when you need to consider you'll have to completely disassemble and reassemble this with every use, it is far too much. The instructions do not explain, they are just images and they do not even exactly match thr model of gazebo. If you set up tents frequently you can figure most of this out by guessing.. With experience you could probably get this up in roughly 20minutes, though I do warn you, you need your hands over your head for most of this assembly and that can get tiresome. If you choose not to fully disassemble this gazebo, it will not completely collapse and fold as the canopy top material will stretch too tightly, it must come off. So you need to unvelcro everything, and untie everything, and unclip those 30-some clips for the netting. So yeah, after I set the gazebo up, I put the legs in a massive 20" flowerpot, staked them into the ground added sandbags to each leg, and filled the pots full of river rocks. It looked amazing. Seemed to hold up decent at first. Turned my back for a while, and when I came to check on it, the leg was bent inward and my fence had shredded the canopy top. I can not recommend this product to stay outside unsupervised or be used in weather conditions where wind might be higher than 15mph. If you read this far thank you for your time. There are other products which require nearly no assembly and I would recommend them over this as this product is just an outdated version of those. ... show more

  • throw instructions away and find a youtube video to install, will leak in rain
Color: Gray Size: 13x13
looks great instructions are a train wreck , just youtube an installation video and throw the instructions away. The small top canopy does not seem to cover enough of the main canopy to keep water out. if there is any wind at all with the rain its going to leak. otherwise great canopy for the price.

  • Expectations met-Great price
Great canopy for summer months in PA to keep sun off and heat at day. Well enjoying the outside. Always a great time for friends under the canopy in the evening with fire pit. Had one in past and lasted three summers, but most recent canopy gazebo is much better quality And seems to be more weather resistant. Easy to put up. Instructions helpful. Once frame opened with my son I was able to do the entire set up alone and only took about two hours including stringing lights across inside frame. Great gazebo or a very reasonable price . Put on deck but screwed in legs so not destroyed by any wind or storms that may roll through. Great product highly recommended. ... show more

  • Love it so far
Color: Gray Size: 13x13
I bought this tent because my back yard is nothing but sun during the day and bugs at night. I wanted to finally enjoy my back yard again. Once I arrived it took my husband maybe 20-30 minutes to set up and place. It was super easy! We also like that it comes with a case so when remove it in the winter it's not just a pile in the garage. It's pretty light. I shimmied it by myself across my deck. I went into with a darker color for preference. I'm curious to see how/if it fades by the end of summer. It's raining tonight and so far so good!! ... show more
